The Nokia Sun will have a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, 16 GB of built-in storage, an 8 MP camera , and a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen. It will come with a micro SIM, just like Nokia’s entire WP portfolio is expected to, apparently in a move to make switching from the iPhone 4 easier for consumers (and to save some space, we’re guessing). The Nokia Sun will have a unibody polycarbonate shell, which is another way of saying “fancy plastic, similar to that found on the N9″.
If this phone actually hits the streets just a couple of weeks or so after it’s announced, that would clearly mark a new beginning for Nokia, and we’re hoping the company will keep shortening the time to market of its future devices.
